Tropical Boho Inspired Wedding at Crystal Coast County Club

Catherine and Bronsyn’s tropical boho-inspired wedding at the Crystal Coast Country Club was absolute perfection! The bride dazzled in a Rue De Seine gown from Lovely Charlotte adorned with a classic shape, bohemian charm, and illusion cutouts. Among their many meaningful details, Catherine repurposed her mom’s veil into two handkerchiefs for her dad and brother, two ornaments for her mom and sister, her garter, and floral accents for her dress hanger.

With the help of the bride’s uncle, the adorable duo said “I do” overlooking the sound at the Crystal Coast Country Club then changed into their matching Nike 'Nicks, moved the party inside, and danced the night away with the BOUNCE! Party Band. Lucky for us, Knot a Second Thought brought the bride’s tropical boho-inspired wedding to life and Allie Miller Photography was there to captured every magical moment.

“Cat was such a fun bride to work with! She had a vision for a Coastal Boho Event, with a neutral, earth-toned color palette, she also liked tropical, so she wanted to mesh boho/tropical/coastal. We were so excited to help her bring this vision to life. The Crystal Coast Country Club has such a pretty aesthetic, especially since they remodeled a few years ago - the colors used in the decor and furnishings, the bold blue/teal they chose for the walls in the entrance, we love it all and really enjoy designing for this space!

It was clear from the first peek into Cat's "Wedding Pinterest Board", that she loved the bohemian feel of pampas plumes, palms, and dried floral elements. We took that and added in cafe latte roses, quicksand roses, ranunculus, gunnii eucalyptus, anthurium, protea, bleached leather fern, and other texture-rich products to create a "recipe" for their designs. We always have a recipe, a list of ingredients if you will, that breaks down what goes into each floral design element of the day. When we start working on the Floral Design concepts, we really like to find the perfect bouquet inspiration, then work on the overall design from there. We added large dried sun palms for the mantle and arbor accents, one of our very favorite ingredients! They chose to use one of our Arbors too, one of our original and reigning favorite of many, the Copper Arbor. We love it for its simplicity. It is sleek, light, and creates the perfect little frame around the couple.
